RWA Vault FAQs

Common questions about mantraUSD, wmantraUSD-Yld vs wmantraUSD-Pts, APY, stablecoin risk, collateral use, and future vaults.

Do I need to hold mantraUSD first? Yes. The mantraUSD RWA Vault accepts mantraUSD as the deposit token. You can acquire mantraUSD via QuickSwap on MANTRA Chain, or by bridging stablecoins and swapping.

What's the difference between wmantraUSD-Yld and wmantraUSD-Pts? Two receipt tokens, two strategies. wmantraUSD-Yld (Yield Vault) earns T-bill yield at a boosted rate and no Flux Points. wmantraUSD-Pts (Points Vault) earns Flux Points from a fixed weekly allocation and no T-bill yield. You pick one at deposit time. Neither earns both.

Why would anyone choose Points over yield? Because Flux Points convert to $XTRA at a future rate. If you believe $XTRA will be priced above the forfeited T-bill yield at redemption, the Points Vault is the better bet. If not, the Yield Vault is.

How is the Yield Vault's APY boosted? The T-bill yield that would otherwise accrue to Points Vault deposits is redirected to the Yield Vault. The more capital in the Points Vault, the larger the YV boost. The exact boost depends on the live Yld/Pts allocation.

Is this the same as a stablecoin savings account? Functionally similar for the Yield Vault. You deposit a USD-pegged stablecoin and earn yield that comes from US Treasury bills. The main differences from a bank savings account: it is entirely onchain, non-custodial, and the yield rate tracks prevailing T-bill rates, minus nominal fees taken by M0 Protocol and Fluxtra, rather than whatever a bank decides to pass through.

What is the actual Yield Vault APY? Use the formula: Net APY ≈ (Nominal T-bill Rate − M0 Fee) × (1 − Performance Fee) − Management Fee, then add the boost from redirected Points Vault yield. As a worked example using live M0 data from April 20, 2026 (3.59% T-bill rate, 3.33% minter rate, 5% performance fee, 0% management fee), the base net APY was ≈ 3.16% before boost. The live rate is always shown in the Fluxtra app.

What happens if I withdraw from the Points Vault mid-week? A 1:1 proportional point deduction applies to your PV balance for that week. Withdraw 30% of your shares mid-week, lose 30% of your accumulated PV points for that week. Prior-week points are retained. The mechanic rewards committed capital and discourages mercenary capital.

Is mantraUSD a risk-free asset? No. mantraUSD is backed by T-bills via M0 Protocol, which makes it more conservative than crypto-collateralized stablecoins, but it still carries smart contract risk, peg risk, and protocol infrastructure risk. It is not equivalent to holding T-bills directly.

Can I use wmantraUSD as collateral while it's earning yield? Yes — wmantraUSD-Yld is designed for use as yield-bearing collateral in supported protocols on MANTRA Chain. The first named integration is Yieldra. You continue earning T-bill yield even while posting it as margin or collateral. wmantraUSD-Pts is not designed as collateral.

Is there a minimum deposit? No minimum. Any amount of mantraUSD can be deposited into either vault.

Are there more RWA Vaults coming? Yes. Fluxtra's RWA Vault architecture is asset-agnostic — any tokenized yield-bearing instrument can be wrapped in a dedicated vault using the same pattern as the mantraUSD vault. The current live deployment features mantraUSD / T-bills as the underlying RWA. Future vaults may include public equities, private credit, private equity, real estate, commodities, and structured strategies such as onchain sovereign bonds and IP royalty vaults.

Do I earn Flux Points in the Yield Vault? No. The wmantraUSD-Yld position earns T-bill yield only. Flux Points in the RWA product category are earned exclusively through the Points Vault (wmantraUSD-Pts).
