Fluxtra: Permissionless Yield Infrastructure for Onchain RWAs
Version 1.0 — April 2026
Preface
Deep in the financial district's hidden labs, I, Dr. Kairo Volt, pursued the ultimate quantum yield strategy. Months of isolation. Plasma reactors running at maximum tolerance. Yield generators whirring and brrring. Alpha returns continually optimized.
Then the accident. My hands fused with electric flux.
The world around me suffused with a purple haze, but I did not stop the experiment. Fluxtra continues to fuse returns from alpha strategies into a single yield layer — liquid staking, concentrated liquidity, and real-world assets, unified.
I am not a marketer. I am a scientist who observes. And what I observe on MANTRA Chain is this: for the first time, the conditions exist to build yield infrastructure that serves everyone — not just institutions with the right connections, not just operators with the time to manage positions manually.
Three yield surfaces. One protocol. Zero gatekeepers.
The vault is not a product. It is the future of finance. Fluxtra innovates decentralized financial primitives using the vault as its base structure.
The instruments are running. The redemption rate is calculating. I do not sleep as I pursue pure liquid purple yield in my lustrous lab.

Abstract
Fluxtra is the multi-chain permissionless yield infrastructure that makes institutional-grade returns accessible wherever they are being deployed onchain. We began our development journey in MANTRA Chain's RWA ecosystem. We will expand to anywhere there are RWA-rich EVM environments. The protocol offers three complementary yield products: liquid staking for MANTRA, automated concentrated liquidity vaults for trading pairs, and RWA-backed vaults anchored by US Treasury bill yield through mantraUSD. Together, these products form a unified yield layer serving both retail DeFi participants and institutional capital — without KYC requirements, without intermediaries, and without gatekeepers. Protocol governance and revenue distribution are coordinated through $XTRA, Fluxtra's native token, and vote-escrow XTRA (veXTRA). This paper describes the protocol's design, mechanics, token model, risk framework, and expansion roadmap.
This paper speaks to two audiences. For DeFi users: Sections 1–4 and 6 explain what Fluxtra does and how the community works; Sections 8–9 summarize Fluxtra's incentive and governance layers, with full mechanics to be published ahead of each launch. For institutional readers conducting due diligence: Sections 5 and 10 cover the protocol architecture and risk framework in full. Both audiences will find the technical sections accurate.
1. Introduction
1.1 The Global RWA Onchain Ecosystem
Institutional-grade yield has been arriving onchain. The problem has never been the yield itself. The problem has been the infrastructure to capture it without gatekeepers. Fluxtra is that infrastructure: a multi-chain permissionless yield protocol that deploys wherever the most significant tokenized assets are being issued, and automates the returns those assets generate for any participant willing to connect a wallet.
Fluxtra's starting point was MANTRA Chain, a Cosmos SDK-based, EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain optimized for the issuance and lifecycle management of tokenized RWAs. MANTRA Chain is purpose-built for compliance, with identity and permissioning primitives at the protocol level. Fluxtra has developed three distinct yield sources derived from 1) Proof of Stake (PoS) staking rewards on MANTRA, 2) DEX trading fees from managed concentrated liquidity markets, and 3) modest clips of T-bill yield from products built on mantraUSD, MANTRA's USD stablecoin backed 1:1 by US Treasury bills via M0 Protocol.
Fluxtra originated as a CosmWasm-native DeFi protocol with an established community of onchain users but as Cosmos DeFi evaporated, the team pivoted to EVM. Their efforts resulted in 3 distinct products: stMANTRA liquid staking, LP Vaults with auto-compounding CLMM management, and the wmantraUSD RWA Vault as entirely new Solidity-based product lines. The community and the name carried forward. The protocol is new.
Fluxtra operates as a permissionless, non-custodial protocol. MANTRA is its development sponsor — not its operator. Users interact with smart contracts directly, with no identity verification and no intermediary. Governance over protocol parameters will progressively decentralize to $XTRA holders as the governance system matures.
The LP Vault architecture is a CLMM manager compatible with both Uniswap v3 and Algebra v4. It is deployable to any EVM chain. Expansion follows capital: HyperEVM — Hyperliquid's smart contract execution environment — is the protocol's first planned deployment beyond MANTRA Chain, targeting concentrated liquidity vaults where Hyperliquid's deep liquidity creates the best LP conditions available on any EVM environment today. Additional deployments will follow the same logic: wherever RWA-rich capital is being deployed onchain, Fluxtra is positioned to be the yield layer on top of it.
The combination of high-performance RWA-focused L1s with T-bill-backed composable stablecoins that offer seamless access to the risk-free rate onchain creates an ecosystem of yield-shaping tools with distinctive characteristics. It is crypto-native staking and liquidity economics layered on top of institutional-grade fixed income.
Fluxtra is the permissionless protocol designed to make that yield accessible.
1.2 The Problem
Institutional-grade yield has always existed. The gatekeepers were the problem.
Fluxtra layers three distinct yield surfaces into a single ecosystem: PoS staking rewards on MANTRA, trading fee income from automated management of concentrated DEX liquidity, and T-bill yield on mantraUSD. Each is real. Each is accessible in principle. But none of these three yield sources are easy to optimize for any single user.
When you stake a Proof-of-Stake coin like MANTRA, it natively locks capital for 8 days. When you want to exit, there are no rewards during unbonding. You cannot deploy your assets elsewhere while staked. You must wait the 8-day unbonding period to access any liquidity.
When you deploy capital into AMM liquidity pools, you earn trading fees as yield, but that yield rarely ever outpaces the impact of impermanent loss. The answer to generating excess yield in these types of liquidity pools is to deploy concentrated liquidity. But managing concentrated liquidity means constantly updating price ranges, rebalancing liquidity as markets move, and compounding rewards manually through repeated gas-intensive transactions.
Short-term US Treasuries are the global risk-free benchmark. But accessing that yield traditionally requires a US brokerage account, a US tax ID, and a minimum deposit that excludes anyone below it. The tokenized RWA products that do exist onchain are typically permissioned receipt tokens, gated by accredited-investor KYC and disconnected from the rest of DeFi. Yield accrues. Nothing else is possible.
The friction is the barrier. Fluxtra removes it.
1.3 Fluxtra's Solution
Three yield strategies. One platform. Zero gatekeepers.
Fluxtra aggregates and automates MANTRA Chain's yield surfaces into three user-facing products:
- Liquid Staking — stake MANTRA, receive stMANTRA. Your position earns staking rewards automatically while staying fully tradeable. No lock-up, no claiming, no manual compounding.
- LP Vaults — deposit token pairs. Fluxtra manages the concentrated liquidity position, compounds trading fees and incentives, and rebalances when price moves out of range. Set it. Let it compound. Earn.
- RWA Vaults — deposit mantraUSD, receive wmantraUSD. RWA yield without the red tape — the risk-free rate, made permissionless.
All three products earn Flux Points (see Section 8), Fluxtra's protocol rewards layer. Wealth isn't built overnight. But Fluxtra vaults work 24/7.
2. Liquid Staking
2.1 Background: The Staking Liquidity Problem
Proof of Stake consensus requires validators to lock capital as a commitment to honest behavior. Native stakers on MANTRA Chain face the same trade-off inherent to all PoS networks: locked capital earns yield, but cannot be deployed elsewhere. Unstaking requires an unbonding period (currently 8 days), during which the capital earns no rewards and cannot be transferred.
Liquid staking protocols solve this illiquidity problem by facilitating the mint of a tradeable receipt token that represents the staked position. The receipt token, referred to as a Liquid Staking Token (LST), accrues value as staking rewards compound in it. The underlying stake remains locked and securing the network, but the user holds an LST they can trade, collateralize, or provide as liquidity.
The stMANTRA mechanism uses the same model deployed by Rocket Pool (rETH on Ethereum) and Coinbase (cbETH on Ethereum). These protocols facilitate the minting of non-rebasing LSTs where the token balance stays fixed and the redemption rate appreciates as staking rewards accrue.
2.2 Mechanics
When a user deposits MANTRA into Fluxtra's liquid staking contract, the protocol delegates that MANTRA to the OMies v2 validator. The user receives stMANTRA in return.
stMANTRA uses a non-rebasing redemption rate model rather than a rebasing balance model that you may be familiar with from Lido's stETH token. In other words, the stMANTRA:MANTRA redemption rate starts at 1.00:1.00 at protocol launch and slowly increases over time as staking rewards accumulate. A user who holds 100 stMANTRA and redeems after one year at a rate of 18% per year will be eligible to redeem their 100 stMANTRA tokens for 118 MANTRA at the end of one year.
Rewards are not distributed as separate payments. They compound continuously into the redemption rate. Note that redemption is distinct from secondary market trading activity.
Redemption rate formula:
Redemption Rate(t) = Total MANTRA in Pool(t) / Total stMANTRA Supply(t)As validators earn rewards, Total MANTRA in Pool increases while Total stMANTRA Supply remains constant until new deposits or withdrawals occur. This drives the redemption rate up.
2.3 Validator Selection
Fluxtra stakes all deposited MANTRA with the OMies v2 validator. The OMies v2 validator charges a 4% commission, which routes entirely to the OMies community treasury rather than to Fluxtra or any protocol-controlled address.
This arrangement reflects a deliberate alignment with MANTRA Chain's community layer. The OMie NFT collection and its holders are a core constituency of the MANTRA ecosystem; the commission structure ensures that liquid staking activity through Fluxtra contributes directly to their community treasury.
2.4 Unstaking
Users can initiate an unstake at any time. When unstaking:
- stMANTRA is returned to the contract and burned.
- The equivalent MANTRA (at the current redemption rate) enters the MANTRA Chain unbonding queue.
- After the 8-day unbonding period, MANTRA becomes available to claim.
Users who need immediate liquidity can instead sell stMANTRA on the open market (QuickSwap) without waiting for unbonding.
2.5 stMANTRA Token
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Symbol | stMANTRA |
| Standard | ERC-4626 |
| Contract (Mainnet) | 0x4131a80b67BE287627766B858C3C6d7f9e900324 |
| Model | Appreciating (non-rebasing) redemption rate |
| Yield source | MANTRA Chain PoS validator rewards |
stMANTRA is an ERC-4626 vault token. ERC-4626 is the tokenized-vault standard that extends ERC-20, so stMANTRA is fully ERC-20 compatible and composable with the broader MANTRA Chain DeFi ecosystem. It can be used as liquidity provision in DEX pools, as collateral in lending protocols, and as the base asset for further DeFi strategies.
2.6 stMANTRA as DeFi Primitive
stMANTRA is not just a staking receipt. It is the foundational yield-bearing asset for composable DeFi on MANTRA Chain.
A user who holds stMANTRA is already earning the MANTRA Chain staking rate — passively, automatically, without any further action. But that is the floor, not the ceiling. stMANTRA is an ERC-4626 vault token that is fully ERC-20 compliant and composable with every protocol on the chain's EVM layer:
- Liquidity provision — deposit stMANTRA into the stMANTRA/MANTRA LP Vault on Fluxtra. The position earns the staking rate on the underlying stMANTRA (which comprises only a portion of the LP) plus trading fee yield from the DEX. Two different yield sources, one position.
- Collateral — as lending protocols launch on MANTRA Chain, stMANTRA's yield-bearing nature makes it a superior collateral asset. Borrowers earn yield on their collateral margin rather than holding idle capital.
- Leveraged staking strategies — borrow against stMANTRA collateral, acquire more MANTRA, stake again. The loop strategy available to stETH holders on Ethereum is available to stMANTRA holders on MANTRA Chain.
The stMANTRA/MANTRA LP Vault is a direct expression of this stacking mechanic and represents a high-efficiency yield position available in the MANTRA Chain ecosystem.
2.7 Fees
Fluxtra charges no management fee on staked principal and a 8% performance fee on staking rewards collected. The fee is deducted before the reward is compounded into the redemption rate — depositors never see it as a separate line item; it is reflected in the net redemption rate accrual.
Fee parameters will be subject to protocol governance once the $XTRA token launches (Phase 2). Current fee rates are always shown in the Fluxtra app.
3. LP Vaults
3.1 Background: Concentrated Liquidity Management
Modern decentralized exchanges, including those deployed on MANTRA Chain like QuickSwap, use concentrated liquidity market maker (CLMM) models. In a CLMM, liquidity providers allocate capital to a specific price range rather than across all prices. Within that range, capital is far more efficient than in traditional constant-product AMMs. Outside that range, the position earns no fees and is effectively inactive.
Active management of concentrated liquidity positions — choosing optimal ranges, rebalancing as prices move, compounding rewards — is complex and gas-intensive. For most users, the friction exceeds the benefit of self-management. Active management seeks to offset the impermanent loss (IL) found in these types of AMM liquidity pair pools by maximizing trading fee rewards.
The goal of Fluxtra's LP Vaults is to abstract this complexity entirely.
3.2 Mechanics
When a user deposits a token pair into an LP Vault, the vault contract:
- Combines the deposit with the existing pool position
- Issues vault share tokens to the depositor representing proportional ownership
- Deploys capital into a CLMM pool at a strategy-determined price range
- Continuously monitors price relative to the active range
- Harvests accumulated trading fees and liquidity incentives at regular intervals
- Reinvests (auto-compounds) harvested rewards back into the position
- Rebalances the active range to maximize trading fees harvested for vault receipt token holders
Users hold vault share tokens. The share price increases as the underlying position compounds. Withdrawing burns shares and returns the proportional underlying token pair.
3.3 Auto-Compounding
Manual compounding of LP rewards requires claiming fees, swapping them to the right ratio, and re-entering the position — typically three separate transactions. At scale, the gas cost of doing this frequently offsets the yield benefit.
Fluxtra's vault contracts auto-compound by batching all depositor positions into a single harvest-and-reinvest operation. The gas cost is socialized across all depositors, making frequent compounding economically viable at any position size.
Higher-TVL vaults compound more frequently. The compounding frequency for each vault is displayed in the app.
3.4 Range Management
The LP Vault strategy determines the active price range for each vault. The strategy is designed to balance:
- Fee capture rate — tighter ranges capture more fees per unit of capital when in range
- Rebalancing frequency — tighter ranges go out of range more often, triggering rebalance gas costs
- Impermanent loss exposure — range width affects IL profile
When price moves outside the active range, the vault rebalances. Rebalancing costs gas, which is deducted from the vault's pending rewards at the time of rebalancing.
3.5 Impermanent Loss
LP Vaults do not eliminate impermanent loss. IL is inherent to liquidity provision and occurs when the relative price of the two deposited tokens changes. The vault's auto-compounding mechanism partially offsets IL through fee reinvestment, but cannot guarantee full neutralization in high-volatility or one-directional market conditions.
LP Vaults are most capital-efficient for pairs where the depositor has directional conviction on both underlying tokens, or for stable/stable pairs where IL risk is minimal.
3.6 Fees
During the bootstrapping phase of the protocol, Fluxtra charges a 0% annual management fee on deposited TVL and a 4.5% performance fee on harvested yield before it is compounded back into the vault. The management fee accrues continuously and is reflected in the vault's net share price rather than deducted as a separate transaction.
Fee parameters will be subject to protocol governance once the $XTRA token launches (see Phase 2 in Section 7 below). Current fee rates per vault will be always displayed in the Fluxtra app.
4. RWA Vaults
4.1 Background: Real World Yield Onchain
DeFi yield has historically been sourced from crypto-native activity: lending demand, trading fees, and token emission incentives. These yields are correlated with crypto market cycles. Yields are high in bull markets, compressed or negative in bear markets.
MANTRA Chain introduces a new yield primitive: mantraUSD, a USD stablecoin backed 1:1 by US Treasury bills via M0 Protocol. T-bill yield is generated by a US government obligation — it is structurally uncorrelated with crypto markets and represents the global baseline "risk-free rate."
By building the RWA Vault around mantraUSD, Fluxtra makes this yield accessible to any onchain participant without requiring access to traditional financial infrastructure.
4.2 mantraUSD and M0 Protocol
mantraUSD is MANTRA's ecosystem stablecoin. Its backing mechanism is as follows:
- USD is used to purchase US Treasury bills
- Those T-bills are held and managed within the M0 Protocol framework
- mantraUSD is minted 1:1 against the T-bill position
- T-bill yield accrues to wmantraUSD holders via the RWA Vault mechanism
M0 Protocol is an institutional-grade stablecoin framework backed by Paradigm and Ribbit Capital. Consensus-owned MetaMask also uses the protocol to power its native stablecoin, mUSD. M0 provides the custodial and accounting infrastructure that links T-bill yield to the onchain token.
4.3 Mechanics
The RWA Vault accepts mantraUSD deposits and issues wmantraUSD (wrapped mantraUSD) in return. wmantraUSD follows the same non-rebasing redemption rate model as stMANTRA:
- The wmantraUSD/mantraUSD rate starts at 1:1
- As T-bill yield accrues through the M0 Protocol, the rate increases
- Depositors hold a fixed quantity of wmantraUSD that becomes redeemable for increasing amounts of mantraUSD over time
Net yield to depositors:
The yield path from T-bills to wmantraUSD passes through three fee layers: the M0 Protocol fee (for stablecoin infrastructure), Fluxtra's performance fee, and Fluxtra's management fee.
Net APY ≈ (Nominal T-bill Rate − M0 Fee) × (1 − Performance Fee) − Management FeeWhere:
- Nominal T-bill Rate is the yield on eligible collateral held by M0 Protocol, published live on the M0 Dashboard.
- M0 Fee is the spread between the nominal T-bill rate and M0's minter rate, and covers M0's stablecoin infrastructure.
- Performance Fee and Management Fee are charged by Fluxtra.
As a worked example, using live M0 data as of April 20, 2026: the nominal T-bill rate was 3.59% and the minter rate was 3.33%, implying an M0 fee of approximately 26 bps. Applying Fluxtra's current 5% performance fee and 0% management fee, depositors could expect approximately a 3.16% net APY.
4.4 wmantraUSD as Collateral
wmantraUSD is the most differentiated asset in the Fluxtra protocol — and arguably the most important primitive in the MANTRA Chain DeFi ecosystem.
Traditional stablecoin collateral is inert. When you post USDC as margin in a trading account or as collateral in a lending protocol, that capital earns nothing. It sits idle as a safety buffer. wmantraUSD breaks this model: it is yield-bearing collateral. The T-bill yield continues to accrue into the wmantraUSD redemption rate even when the token is posted as collateral in another protocol.
The capital efficiency math is straightforward. A user who posts $100,000 of idle USDC as collateral earns 0% on that position. A user who posts $100,000 of wmantraUSD earns the T-bill rate on the same capital — while still accessing the same leverage, trading exposure, or borrowing capacity the collateral unlocks.
This mechanic inverts the traditional cost-of-collateral model. Posting wmantraUSD doesn't cost yield — it generates it.
The first named integration is Yieldra, a lending protocol on MANTRA Chain that accepts wmantraUSD as collateral. A Yieldra depositor can post wmantraUSD as margin, borrow against it, and continue earning T-bill yield on the collateral position simultaneously. This is the mechanic in production, not in theory.
The longer-term implication is structural. As additional lending protocols, perpetuals platforms, and structured products launch on MANTRA Chain, wmantraUSD is positioned to become the preferred base collateral asset across the ecosystem. A protocol that accepts wmantraUSD collateral offers its users a better deal than one that accepts idle stablecoins. This is the adoption vector.
wmantraUSD is not a stablecoin yield product that happens to be composable. It is yield-bearing collateral infrastructure — the most differentiated financial primitive on MANTRA Chain.
4.5 wmantraUSD Tokens
The RWA Vault issues two distinct receipt tokens depending on the depositor's intended strategy. The choice between them encodes a fundamental tradeoff between yield now and governance stake later. Full game-theory mechanics will be published ahead of Flux Points Season 1.
wmantraUSD-Yld — for depositors seeking more than the average short-term T-bill yield. Share price appreciates as yield accrues; redemption returns increasing mantraUSD over time. Earns no Flux Points.

4.6 Future RWA Vaults
The mantraUSD/T-bill vault is the first deployment of Fluxtra's RWA Vault infrastructure. But it is not the last. The vault architecture is asset-agnostic: any tokenized yield-bearing instrument can be wrapped in a Fluxtra vault. As new RWA issuers deploy on MANTRA Chain, each becomes a candidate for a dedicated vault.
Single-asset classes in the pipeline:
- Public equities — tokenized equity exposure, bringing traditional stock market participation onchain for DeFi users who want equity yield without brokerage infrastructure
- Private credit — tokenized private lending instruments carrying higher yield potential than T-bills, for depositors willing to accept credit risk premium over the risk-free rate
- Private equity — tokenized fund exposure to PE strategies, historically available only to accredited investors at significant minimums and long lock-up horizons
- Real estate — tokenized commercial and residential property, with yield derived from rent streams and capital appreciation
- Commodities — tokenized gold, precious metals, agricultural products, and other physical commodities, offering onchain inflation hedges and portfolio diversifiers historically accessible only through futures contracts or physical custody
Strategy vaults:
Beyond single-asset vaults, Fluxtra's architecture supports structured yield strategies that actively rotate across the RWA opportunity set:
- Onchain sovereign bonds — a floating-rate strategy vault that automatically tracks the prevailing risk-free rate across multiple sovereignties.
- Intellectual Property (IP) — a royalty-backed yield strategy that tokenizes future revenue streams from creative and intellectual property assets, converting historically illiquid royalty income into an onchain, liquid yield position.
Potential issuance partners for future vaults include any and all Token-as-a-Service (TaaS) service providers.
Each future vault follows the same model as wmantraUSD: deposit the underlying tokenized asset, receive a yield-bearing receipt token that accrues returns onchain. The wmantraUSD blueprint is the pattern. The pipeline is the vision. Fluxtra's ceiling is as a yield aggregator for global onchain assets and strategies.
4.7 Fees
Fluxtra charges a 0% annual management fee on deposited TVL and a 5% performance fee on T-bill yield net of the M0 Protocol fee, varying by vault configuration. Performance fees are deducted before net yield is reflected in the wmantraUSD redemption rate. Principal is never subject to performance or management fees.
Fee parameters will be subject to protocol governance once the $XTRA token launches (Phase 2). Current fee rates for the active RWA Vault are displayed in the Fluxtra app.
5. Protocol Architecture
5.1 Smart Contract Stack
Fluxtra operates as a set of non-custodial smart contracts on any EVM blockchain. The contracts are written in Solidity. All receipt tokens (stMANTRA, wmantraUSD, LP Vault share tokens) implement the ERC-4626 tokenized-vault standard, which extends ERC-20, so every receipt token is simultaneously a vault token and a fully ERC-20-compatible asset composable across any EVM DeFi protocol.
Key properties:
- Non-custodial — no admin key can unilaterally withdraw user funds
- Composable — all receipt tokens are ERC-4626 vault tokens, fully ERC-20 compatible with any EVM DeFi protocol
- Audited — contracts are audited by independent security firms before mainnet deployment
- Upgradeable (with governance) — protocol parameters can be updated through onchain governance
5.2 MANTRA Chain Integration
Fluxtra integrates deeply with MANTRA Chain's native infrastructure:
- Staking module — Liquid staking interacts directly with MANTRA Chain's Cosmos SDK staking module to delegate and undelegate MANTRA
- DEX integrations — LP Vaults interface with QuickSwap v4 concentrated liquidity pools
- mantraUSD — RWA Vaults interface with the mantraUSD contract and M0 Protocol yield pass-through
MANTRA's EVM layer enables Fluxtra to be built in Solidity while retaining access to Cosmos-native staking mechanics via precompile bridges.
5.3 Security Model
The protocol's security posture rests on:
- Smart contract audits by Oak Security
- Delegation to the OMies v2 validator, selected for community alignment and track record (Liquid Staking)
- Conservative range strategies in LP Vaults to reduce rebalancing failure scenarios
- Dependence on audited, institutional-grade infrastructure (M0 Protocol) for RWA yield
Users should refer to Fluxtra's Security documentation for current audit reports and known risk disclosures.
6. Protocol Identity & Community
6.1 Dr. Kairo Volt
Every protocol has mechanics. Fluxtra also has a scientist.
Dr. Kairo Volt — @DrFlux101 on X — is the fictional character who embodies Fluxtra's vault-maximalist thesis. His backstory: a plasma energy experiment gone wrong, hands fused with electric flux, an obsession with onchain yield that predates the accident and intensified after it. He is not a spokesperson. He is not a marketer. He is a scientist who observes, reports data, and makes declarations.
His account exists to carry what the protocol account cannot: opaque teases, dramatic character moments, scientific authority framing, Lab Reports, etc. He runs the hype. The protocol runs the product. They are distinct voices — one human, one machine — that cross-reference without impersonating each other.
The character is not decoration. He is the front edge of the protocol's communication strategy: he creates anticipation, the protocol delivers substance. Every major Fluxtra product announcement is preceded by Dr. Flux going dark in the lab, then resurfacing with cryptic data.
6.2 The OMies
Fluxtra's core community is the OMies — MANTRA Chain's foundational NFT holder community, and the group most deeply aligned with the protocol's long-term success.
The alignment is not just cultural. It is structural and embedded in the protocol's mechanics at three levels:
Validator economics. All MANTRA staked through Fluxtra is delegated to the OMies v2 validator. The validator's 4% commission routes entirely to the OMies community treasury. Every stMANTRA mint is a direct contribution to that treasury — stakers earn yield and fund the community simultaneously.
Points multipliers. Verified OMie NFT holders receive a base Flux Points multiplier applied across all vaults in every season. The earliest and most committed members of the MANTRA ecosystem earn faster than anyone else.
Governance alignment. As veXTRA governance activates after the $XTRA TGE, the OMies community — already the most concentrated early depositors — will be among the best-positioned participants to influence protocol direction.
Fluxtra's Telegram community is where the OMies and wider Sherpa depositor base on MANTRA Chain can interact daily: tracking redemption rates, surfacing questions that become documentation, and marking milestones that become social proof. Community is not a growth tactic at Fluxtra. It is the output of building something worth caring about — and encoding that care into the protocol's mechanics.
6.3 Flux Points as Social Layer
Flux Points are not just a rewards mechanism. They are the protocol's memory.
Every stake of MANTRA, every LP Vault deposit, every wmantraUSD position is recorded — not just onchain, but in the Flux Points ledger. The points system creates a continuous record of who was here, when they arrived, and how committed they were. Early participants accumulate faster. Consistent participants accumulate more than episodic ones.
The lab keeps score. It always has.
Flux Points campaigns are organized into seasons. Each season has defined start and end dates, specific earning mechanics, and announced redemption paths. The system is designed to reward depth of participation, not just size of deposit. A user with a modest position held consistently could potentially outearn a larger position that comes and goes.
7. Development Priorities
Fluxtra's development is organized around three phases. Phases 2 and 3 carry approximate horizon labels; specific delivery dates depend on MANTRA Chain ecosystem development, external integration readiness, and governance decisions.
Phase 1 (Current — H1 2026): Core product stability and multi-chain expansion
HyperEVM — Hyperliquid's EVM execution environment — hosts some of the deepest concentrated liquidity conditions available on any EVM today. Hyperliquid's native perpetuals ecosystem generates sustained trading volume across a range of pairs; that volume translates directly into LP fee yield. Fluxtra's CLMM vault architecture is compatible with both Uniswap V3 and Algebra V4 and is deployable to any EVM environment. HyperEVM's liquidity profile makes it the strongest first target for that expansion.
MANTRA Chain remains the home of Fluxtra's RWA Vaults and stMANTRA liquid staking — both of which depend on MANTRA Chain's specific infrastructure. HyperEVM is additive, targeting LP Vault deployment where liquidity conditions are strongest. RWA vaults can also be deployed on any EVM chain. The multi-chain thesis is demonstrated, not declared, through capital performance across both environments.
- stMANTRA liquid staking live on MANTRA Chain EVM
- LP Vaults live for major MANTRA Chain trading pairs
- mantraUSD RWA Vault (wmantraUSD) live
- LP Vault deployment on HyperEVM — Fluxtra's first expansion beyond MANTRA Chain
- Flux Points Season 1 active
Phase 2 (H2 2026): Expanded RWA Vaults, collateral integrations, and governance launch
- Additional RWA Vault types as new tokenized assets are issued on MANTRA Chain
- wmantraUSD collateral integration in MANTRA Chain lending and trading protocols
- NVNM Bootstrapping mantraUSD Vault
- $XTRA token launch and veXTRA governance activation
Phase 3 (2027): Protocol governance and ecosystem expansion
- Full decentralized governance over protocol parameters, fee structures, and vault additions via veXTRA
- LP Vault expansion to cover new trading pairs as MANTRA Chain DeFi ecosystem matures
- Strategy vault deployments pending RWA issuance milestones
- Enhanced LP Vault strategies with more sophisticated range management
8. Flux Points
Flux Points are Fluxtra's loyalty and incentive rewards system. Active positions across eligible Fluxtra products and activities earn Flux Points continuously, without requiring any user action.
Flux Points eligibility is defined per season. In Season 1, eligible activities include LP Vault positions, wmantraUSD-Pts positions, and the minting of net new stMANTRA. In Season 1, points accumulate week by week for as long as a position remains open.
Seasonal rules, eligibility, weights, and multipliers are announced ahead of each season and displayed in the Fluxtra app.
The Flux Points system serves two purposes:
- User retention — points reward long-term participation and create meaningful switching costs for committed depositors
- Governance seeding — Flux Points are the path to $XTRA tokens, which are the foundation of Fluxtra's decentralized governance system. Points are the mechanism by which the protocol distributes ownership to its earliest and most active users.
8.1 Season Structure
Flux Points are organized into seasons with defined start and end dates. Before the beginning of each season we will reveal general point supply mechanics, but we will never specify vault allocations or any stated $XTRA conversion rate. We will only reiterate that with each Flux Point season, a significant portion of the Fluxtra protocol is at stake.
Seasons use a staggered conversion schedule: Flux Points earned in Season N become redeemable for $XTRA at the close of Season N+1, not at the close of the season in which they were earned. This rewards participants who commit across multiple seasons rather than episodic depositors.
8.2 Season 1 Mechanics
Season 1 distributes 100,000,000 Flux Points over 12 weeks (~8.33M points per week).
The following vaults or activities will be eligible to receive Flux Points beginning at the first week.
- wMANTRA / mantraUSD
- HYPE / wMANTRA

Multipliers:
Points earned can be amplified through two multiplier systems that run on top of the base earning rate:
- Founder Season rank — participants who held qualifying positions during Fluxtra's Founder Season receive a permanent point multiplier for Season 1, scaled to their final Founder Season leaderboard rank
- OMie NFT — verified holders of MANTRA's OMie NFT collection receive a base multiplier applied to all earned points across all vaults
Withdrawal penalty: Withdrawing capital from a vault mid-week forfeits accumulated unclaimed points for that position on a 1:1 basis for that week. This is a deliberate mechanic. It rewards commitment and discourages mercenary capital that enters late and exits before redemption. However, you retain the points you earned in prior weeks.
8.3 wmantraUSD Yield vs. Points Game Theory
The two wmantraUSD vault tokens create a structured tradeoff with no dominant strategy. Every depositor must choose a side — and the choice of others determines the payoff to your choice.
The mechanism:
wmantraUSD-Yld (Yield Vault) earns T-bill yield at a boosted rate. It earns no Flux Points. wmantraUSD-Pts (Points Vault) earns Flux Points from a fixed weekly allocation — currently 20% of the Season 1 weekly pool. It earns no yield. The yield that would otherwise accrue to Points Vault depositors is redirected to the Yield Vault, boosting the YV's APY above the base T-bill rate.
Neither vault earns both. The depositor chooses one.
The game:
The Points Vault's weekly allocation is fixed regardless of how many depositors choose it. If few depositors choose the Points Vault (PV), each earns a disproportionately large share of that fixed pool. Points per dollar deposited would be high, making the $XTRA upside compelling. As more depositors pile in, the pool dilutes, reducing per-dollar point accrual. The equilibrium allocation between the two vaults is set entirely by the market's implied view on $XTRA's future value relative to the current T-bill rate.
The Yield Vault (YV) responds inversely. More depositors choosing Points means more forfeited yield flowing to the Yield Vault, boosting its APY. Fewer PV depositors means less redirected yield and the YV APY compresses toward the base T-bill rate.
The commitment layer:
Withdrawing from the Points Vault mid-week triggers a 1:1 proportional point deduction against that week's accumulated PV points. Reduce your PV share balance by X% and lose X% of your PV points for the active week. Prior week points are retained. Only user-initiated withdrawals count. The mechanic encodes a simple rule: committed capital earns; mercenary capital does not.
What this reveals:
The split between the two vaults is a continuous, onchain signal of the market's revealed preference for yield versus governance. A heavily weighted Points Vault implies the market believes $XTRA is underpriced relative to the T-bill rate at the current points accrual. A heavily weighted Yield Vault implies the inverse. The protocol does not set this price — depositors do, in real time, with real capital at stake.
8.4 $XTRA Redemption Structure
At the end of Flux Points Season 2, Flux Points Season 1 points will convert to $XTRA at a conversion rate announced ahead of redemption. Converted $XTRA follows a split structure:
- 20% liquid $XTRA — immediately claimable and freely tradeable
- 80% esXTRA — escrowed $XTRA subject to a 3-month cliff, then 6-month linear vest (9 months total). Early exit from the vest burns 50% of the esXTRA position.
This structure is not incidental. It encodes the protocol's view on long-term alignment: the Sherpas who wait nine months own more of the protocol than the ones who leave early. The redemption rate does not sleep. Neither does the vest.
8.5 Future Seasons
Season parameters — including vault allocations, multiplier schemes, total point supply — are announced before each season opens. As the veXTRA governance system matures, control over future season design will migrate progressively to token holders.
Current season details will always be available at fluxtra.xyz.
9. $XTRA Governance Token
$XTRA will be Fluxtra's native governance and incentive token, coordinating protocol governance, directing vault emissions through veXTRA gauge voting, and distributing real yield to long-term participants.
Full $XTRA tokenomics — including supply, allocation, veXTRA vote-escrow mechanics, esXTRA emissions schedule, real yield distribution, governance parameters, and TGE timeline — will be added to this whitepaper at the appropriate time ahead of token launch.
10. Risk Disclosure
All DeFi protocols carry risk. Users should understand the following before depositing into any Fluxtra product.
Smart contract risk — bugs in Fluxtra's contracts or integrated protocols (DEXes, M0 Protocol) could result in partial or total loss of deposited funds. Audits reduce but do not eliminate this risk.
Validator slashing risk (Liquid Staking) — MANTRA Chain validators can be slashed for double-signing or extended downtime. Fluxtra stakes all MANTRA with the OMies v2 validator. A slashing event affecting that validator would reduce the underlying MANTRA in the staking pool and lower the stMANTRA redemption rate. Users should be aware that the protocol currently carries single-validator concentration risk.
Impermanent loss (LP Vaults) — liquidity provision to any trading pair carries impermanent loss risk. Auto-compounding partially offsets IL but does not eliminate it.
Stablecoin depeg risk (RWA Vaults) — mantraUSD could lose its USD peg. While backed by T-bills, smart contract bugs, M0 Protocol failures, or extreme market conditions could affect the peg. A depeg would affect the USD-denominated value of wmantraUSD positions. Users should refer to the mantraUSD whitepaper (available at https://mantrausd.com/) for comprehensive information and detailed risk disclosures relating to mantraUSD, which are hereby expressly incorporated by reference in their entirety.
Interest rate risk (RWA Vaults) — T-bill yields are set by monetary policy and decline when central banks lower interest rates. A rate reduction reduces wmantraUSD APY. Principal is unaffected.
Liquidity risk — in low-liquidity conditions, selling stMANTRA or wmantraUSD on the open market may involve slippage. Users always retain the option to exit via the native unstaking/withdrawal mechanism, with redemption subject to unbonding periods.
Redemption risk — The redemption of stMANTRA for MANTRA through the Fluxtra protocol is subject to risks that may delay or limit a user's ability to recover the underlying MANTRA tokens. Upon initiating a redemption, the corresponding MANTRA is locked for a protocol-mandated unbonding period, during which it remains non-transferable and accrues no staking rewards; this period is subject to change by on-chain governance. Additionally, Fluxtra may batch redemption requests at set intervals due to MANTRA Chain's network-level constraints, introducing further delays beyond the standard unbonding period. Smart contract risk as well as network-level risks such as validator downtime, chain halts, or protocol upgrades could also impair or delay redemption.
Jurisdictional note — The regulatory and legal status of decentralized finance protocols, and participation therein, remains unsettled and continues to evolve across jurisdictions. It is uncertain whether, or to what extent, the use of Fluxtra may be subject to regulation, restriction, or prohibition under the laws applicable to any particular user. Users bear sole and exclusive responsibility for determining the legality of their participation in the Fluxtra protocol under all laws and regulations applicable to them, and for ensuring ongoing compliance therewith. No assurance is given, and none should be assumed, that access to or use of Fluxtra is lawful in any given jurisdiction. Users in jurisdictions where participation in DeFi protocols is restricted or prohibited must not access or use the protocol.
11. Conclusion
The experiment is not complete. It never is. But the instruments are reading clearly: three yield surfaces, one protocol, zero gatekeepers. The redemption rate moves whether you are watching or not. ⚡
Fluxtra is permissionless yield infrastructure for onchain RWAs — deployed first on MANTRA Chain, expanding to every EVM environment where institutional-grade assets are being issued. It makes three distinct yield surfaces accessible — PoS staking rewards, DEX trading fees, and T-bill yield — through non-custodial, automated, composable products that work for any participant willing to connect a wallet.
The protocol's positioning is unique in DeFi: it sits at the intersection of crypto-native yield (staking, LP fees) and real-world asset yield (T-bill rates), unified under a single interface across blockchains purpose-built for regulated financial assets. Expansion follows capital. As the onchain RWA ecosystem grows across chains, Fluxtra is positioned to be the default yield layer wherever that capital lands.
